Silktide uses two entities very frequently, and although they are separate concepts in code, they are usually presented to users as a single concept:

• Website A website is a collection of pages which is tested.
• Section A section is a portion of a website, which Silktide shows in the same was as a website.

In many areas of Silktide, it is helpful to view these as equivalent, e.g. we can view a report on a website or on a section. We can compare the scores of websites and sections. And so on.

To aid in this convention, Silktide has a few concepts that you may encounter in our API:
