Get an API key

To get an API key:

• Log into Silktide as an Account administrator
• In the top-right corner, click on the user menu
• Click Settings
• Click API keys (note: this feature will only appear if enabled for your account)
• Click New API key.
• Give it a descriptive name and click Save
• Click Reveal key to reveal new API key, and record it safely

Get your endpoint

Silktide has multiple API endpoints. You must use the correct one for your account:

• US – https://api.us.silktide.com/
• EU – https://api.eu.silktide.com/

Which endpoint do you use?

You must use the endpoint corresponding with your account. You can’t access your account from a different region.

If you’re not sure, log in to Silktide as a user, and look at the URL Silktide takes you to. It will contain a URL like so:

<https://app.eu.silktide.com/>

From here you can see this example is the EU region.

The Silktide API is Restful and uses JSON.
